Things are changing
The title says it all; our son is due to arrive in a few weeks, and there's a good chance he might even show up a bit before that. We're beyond excited to welcome him into the world! While I don't fully know what I'm getting myself into, I have a feeling being a full-time dad who also has a full-time job is going to leave very little time for pedals, as much as it pains me.
So we'll be taking a break.
Last call (for now)
We only have a handful of pedals in our inventory, and we'd be a lot happier if they were in the hands of people who will enjoy them. Plus it would be nice to free up some closet space for diapers and pacifiers and other baby paraphernalia.
To rid of us this burden ASAP, Fulcrum is now heavily discounted. We'll be making the usual donations to trans lifeline as though it was full price. If you've been curious about it or on the fence, this is the time to pick one up, as I don't see us making more for at least a year, more likely two.
Will it return?
No clue. If there's demand, we can make more. Maybe the next iteration will be a bit different, maybe it'll be the same. Hell, seeing the response we got maybe we'll make something sparkly. Anything can happen.
What's next
There's still a lot to accomplish, and I have every intention of returning in some form. My sketchbook is overflowing with ideas, and while tariffs and life got in the way of some of those plans this year, they will come to fruition at some point.
This past year has led to working with other companies, many of whom I've looked up to for years. All the engineering work I've poured into these projects is slowly making its way into finished products that will soon be in your hands! I'm extremely proud of the work I've done there. For the time being, this is the best possible arrangement as it lets me focus on the parts I love and help build up my friends without having to wear the numerous other hats required to release a complete product alone.
Thanks
None of this happened in isolation, and I'm eternally grateful to everyone who has helped us along the way and built us up over the years. It's been such a joy to participate in the broader pedal community and meet so many like-minded people. Seeing our devices used in the creation of art continues to be endlessly rewarding.
See y'all again soon!
